Hospital

Since 1999, Nakhchivan State University has been providing specialist training in medical fields. The hospital, which began operations within the University's Faculty of Medicine in 2001, transitioned to a new facility starting in 2015. The hospital features three departments: pediatrics, therapy, and surgery. The building, which has three floors, houses the surgical block on the first floor. This floor includes two intensive care units, an X-ray room, a clinical laboratory, a pharmacy, and an examination room. The hospital is also equipped with ultrasound and electrocardiography facilities, as well as nursing and physician offices. There are a total of nine beds, including two in the intensive care unit and two in the pediatric ward. The hospital offers services in dentistry, ophthalmology, and includes a stomatological and pharmaceutical laboratory, a physiotherapy department, a sterilization room, three lecture halls, and an ophthalmology cabinet.
