Rajab Jafarli
He was born in Julfa in 1987. He completed his secondary education in Julfa city and in 2004-2008 he studied English language teaching at Nakhchivan Private University, and in 2009-2011 he studied at the master's level of the same university. Rajab Jafarli, who has been teaching since 2009, worked as an English teacher at Nakhchivan University in 2013-2023. In 2015-2023, he worked as the head of the International Relations Department of "Nakhchivan" University. In 2017-2021, he was a doctoral student at Nakhchivan State University. In 2021, he successfully defended his thesis entitled "Semantic features of modern British slang and their ways of expression in Azerbaijani". In 2022, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he received the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology. Since 2024, he has been working as Rector's Advisor (on Strategic Development) of Nakhchivan State University and is a teacher of the "English language and translation" department. He is the university coordinator of 5 large-scale international projects. He participated in international symposiums, trainings and conferences organized in England, Sweden, France, Finland, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Turkey and other countries and was awarded with certificates.
