ABDULLAYEV ARZU KAMAL
He was born on September 16, 1987 in the village of Ustupu, Ordubad region. While studying in high school, his articles were regularly published in the Ordubad district's newspaper "People’s life".
In 2006, with 526 points, he was admitted to the history major of the Faculty of History and Philology of Nakhchivan State University.
In 2010, he graduated from that faculty with honors.
From 2007 to 2010, he was awarded the Heydar Aliyev scholarship for his scientific and social activities.
He was in active military service in 2010-2011.
In 2011-2013, he studied "History and Theory of International Relations" at the master's level at Nakhchivan State University.
In 2009-2017, he worked as the chairman of the Student Youth Organization of Nakhchivan State University.
In 2009-2018, he was the vice-chairman of the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan (ATGTI).
In 2009, he was chosen as the "Best Young Student of the Year", in 2012 as "The Best Master's Student of the Year".
At Nakhchivan State University, "What? Where? When?", he was the founder and first head of intellectual clubs "Khamsa", "Alinca".
The Student Youth Organization he led won the "Best Student Organization of the Year" nomination in the Republic of Azerbaijan for its successful activity in 2012. In 2014-2018, he studied for a doctorate in "History of the Motherland".
He started his career in 2013 as a teacher of "General History" department at Nakhchivan State University. Since 2018, he has been working as a teacher, head teacher at the "International Relations" department, currently as an associate professor.
From 2013 to 2018, he worked as a reporter in "Nuh Yurdu" newspaper.
In 2014-2019, he held the positions of deputy director of Istedad-XXI century LLC, and in 2019-2021, he served as executive director.
In 2021, he defended his thesis on "History of the Motherland" and in the same year received a doctorate in history.
From March 2021, in addition to scientific and pedagogical activities, he is the chairman of the territorial party organization of the New Azerbaijan Party University campus.
He has been awarded with more than 60 diplomas, honorary degrees, certificates, 5 books, 6 programs, 40 scientific articles, 220 articles of social and political content in various press organizations ("Azerbaijan", "Respublika", "People's newspaper", "East Gate", "Educational problems", "Azerbaijani teacher", "525th newspaper", "Two coasts", "Palette", "Noah's home", "People’s life", "New idea", "The dawn of the East", "New Azerbaijan" , "Azad Azerbaijan" etc.) were published.
Within the framework of the state program, he visited Turkey, Iran, Russia, Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Qatar, China and South Korea.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 30, 2022, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the New Azerbaijan Party, he was awarded the "Progress" medal for active participation in the social and political life of the country.
From April 2023, he was appointed vice-rector for social issues and public relations of Nakhchivan State University.
He has been a member of NAP since 2007.
He has been a member of the Union of Journalists since 2018.
Since 2021, the New Azerbaijan Party is a member of the Board of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Organization.
He is married and has 2 children.
